Last November 11, 2017, the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communications (UPCMC) awarded its eight distinguished alumni on its first-ever “Glory Awards” ceremony held at the UP Bahay ng Alumni, Diliman, Quezon City.
Two of the eight recipients were the current UP Film Director, Sari Dalena and the founding UPFI director, Joel David.
Dr. Joel David is the winner of the Glory award for film research and criticism.
