Synopsis: Alex Jürgen is intersexual—a hermaphrodite, a person who doesn’t conform to the world’s precise division into male and female. Tintenfischalarm (Octopusalarm) is a three-year journey through Alex’s dramatic past, its destination independent ideas and new friends. The film addresses a theme which is guarded like a secret because it calls our traditional hierarchy into question.
