Synopsis: The story is about a mother who swims one end of the river to the other just to put her kids to school amidst the war between the Abu Sayyafs and the government forces, and where students are so poor they use pencils even when they are an inch long and students don’ t have decent school uniforms.
The film is shot in Caliraya River in Laguna where Francis Ford Coppola shot “Apocalypse Now”
