POV XIII: Celebrating the power of people’s narratives
On its 13th year, POV celebrates the power of people’s narratives through moving images. It is a medium that has the power to inform and move people to ignite social change. Now is the time to highlight the power of the people’s stories and the role each can play to engage spectators to take action, shape, and strengthen societal movements to fight for social change and justice.
POV XIII will be held on January 21, 2017 at the Cine Adarna, University of the Philippines – Diliman. Finalists will be screened at 1PM, with the awards ceremony following thereafter.
Free food and drinks will be served! There will also be freebies. Also, get a chance to catch JP Habac’s award winning short film, “Maria” as the opening film.
