Synopsis: Atan (an aeta), finds himself in a fixed marriage with Ani (an aeta as well). The family of Atan’s bride-to-be requested Atan to provide two swine and P20,000 as “bandi” or dowry. In order for Atan to raise the amount and the two swine, he has to go to the plains and find alternative jobs in-between. During those times, he met Rain (a lady from Manila) whom he found special fondness and secret admiration with. The film paints a cross-cultural encounter of the “kulot” (Aetas) and the “unat” (non-Aetas). This is where the unique love story revolves around Atan, Rain, and Ani.
