Synopsis: MAESTRA is a movie tribute to the heroes of the past, the present and the future generations – the TEACHERS. It is created to immortalize stories of the lives, struggles and triumphs of teachers in a full-length film created by award-winning and critically acclaimed production team headed by Director Lemuel Lorca, along with Sarah Brakenseik (line producer), Tey Clamor (Director of Photography), and JP Sapitula (Production Design). MAESTRA features a multi-awarded cast of respected artists like FAMAS Lifetime Achievement Awardee Gloria Sevilla, international multi-awarded actress Angeli Bayani and young multi-awarded actress Ana Luna. MAESTRA is produced by multi-awarded educator, advocate and entrepreneur Dr Carl E. Balita. Music is composed by multi-awarded songwriter Vehnee Saturno.
