The UP Film Institute in partnership with the The Philippine Italian Association brings to you a one-day Italian cinema masterclass in the premier state university. The masterclasses serve as the educational component of this year’s edition of Italian Cinema: From Venice to Manila. It will happen on Nov. 12, 2018 (1PM-6:30PM) at the UPFI Media Center Bldg. Film Studio. All masterclasses are free of charge and certificates will be issued upon request.

Abstract:
In the effort of professionalizing the key roles in the film making process, the PIA, ICCPI and FCDP with the support of the European Union, bring outstanding film professionals from Italy to lecture the filmmakers of tomorrow on how to improve the craft of critical areas in the making of a film, such as Sound Design and Musical Score, Cinematography and Directing for VFX. The lectures (90 minutes each) are mainly meant for film students and young filmmakers.
