Brief Description
Cinematography covers aspects of film such as shot selection, framing, composition, and lighting. The cinematographer is in charge of composing shots that would communicate the story cinematically.
The course is designed to explore the fundamental aspects of cinematography from basic camera set-up to lighting principles. Several techniques that enhance visual storytelling are also included in the discussions. A hands-on activity is incorporated in the workshop so as to simulate usual cinematography work conditions.

About the Facilitator:
Nap Jamir is a multi-awarded cinematographer and director who has been working in the field of Philippine advertising and filmmaking since the 1980s.
