World War II 75 Years After
It is now 75 years since the dust of war has settled, and it seems that the war memory of the nation is beginning to fade. Most of the older generation of Filipinos who have witnessed the war has now passed, and it is up to us now to tell their tales to the next generation of Filipinos.
In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Philippines and the end of World War II, the UP Film Institute will hold screenings of special documentary features by Bani Logrono: Unsurrendered 2: The Hunters ROTC Guerrillas and Manila 1945: The Rest of the Story at the Videotheque of UPFI Film Center.
Admission is free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis (58 seats).
