Nap C. Jamir II is a Filipino photographer, cinematographer, and director in advertising and of feature films. As a still photographer in the 1980s, he co-founded Shadow Visual Design Group, Inc., a photography and graphic design outfit which became a byword in the advertising field for its innovative and creative use of photography and design. The group won numerous print awards from the Advertising Congress of the Phil. As an art photographer, he has had several one-man and group shows at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and the Museum of Contemporary Art among others. He was part of the 1974 Thirteen Artists Award of the CCP Biennale and participated in the Asean Traveling Exhibition of Paintings/ Photography and has represented the country in the Valparaiso Bienalle of Prints.

As a cinematographer and director for television commercials since 1985, he enjoys working and contributing to that field and has had several awards from the Advertising Congress of the Philippines for clients like Close-up, Swatch and Splash. For television, Jamir was Director of Photography (DOP) for National Artist Eddie Romero’s Noli Me Tangere. His feature film credits include Carlitos Siguion-Reyna’s Isauli Mo Ang Lahat sa Akin; Tikoy Aguiluz’ Rizal sa Dapitan; Jeffrey Jeturian’s Bridal Shower; Aureaus Solito’s Ang Pag-Dadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros; Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil’s Boses; Sari Dalena's Dahling Nick; and Tanabata’s Wife, among many others.

Jamir is a member of the Filipino Cinematographers Society.
