Richard B. Bolisay is a writer, editor, and film critic based in Manila. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Film and Audio-Visual Communication from the U.P. Film Institute and acquired his master's degree in Film Studies from the University of Sussex. His essays on cinema, music, and popular culture have appeared in various local and international publications. He has also participated as a film critic or a jury member in several film festivals such as Locarno International Film Festival, Berlinale Talents, Hong Kong International Film Festival, QCinema International Film Festival, Cinema One Originals Film Festival, and others.
