SYNOPSIS: Kulas and his family live a simple and quiet life on a piece of land given to them by their former parish priest. But their quiet life is disturbed by an incident that changes not only his life but those of his townmates.
He is given an amulet to help him in the challenges that he will face while undertaking progressive projects. In one sequence, Kulas does battle with thousands of snakes to test the power of his amulet.
The producer, Mrs. Emilia Blas, feels that the film shows how producers and filmmakers can inject themes on social values that will make an impact on nation-building under the New Order.
