Synopsis: When the passenger ship Aurora crashes against the rocky coasts of a remote island, a young innkeeper Leana is forced to help recover the dead bodies of missing passengers in exchange for a bounty. Threatened by an incoming storm and a Coast Guard officer who forbids private recovery operations, Leana secretly hires a fisherman and a diver to look for bodies in the increasingly hostile seas. The grim task leads to exhaustion, frayed nerves, and clashes over the bounty. The ordeal takes its toll on Leana and her young sister who experience inexplic- able sightings of the dead and macabre nightmares that reveal the truth behind Aurora’s mysterious sinking. Not even death can silence restless souls abandoned under the sea and prevent them from telling the horrifying truth behind the mystery of the Aurora.
