Workshops and short-term courses are offered to provide impetus to budding practitioners and sustain general creativity for the cause of emergent filmmaking. Among these workshops and short-term courses are Basic Scriptwriting, Intermediate Scriptwriting, Digital Photography, Studio Photography, Travel Photography, Digital Cinematography, Digital Video Production, Documentary Video Production, Writing about Film.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Facilitator: Mr. Jay Javier
Schedule : October 6, 13, 20 and 27 (4 Saturdays)
Time : 1pm to 5pm (16 hours)
Course Fee : P 6,000
Reqt : Digital Camera with manual setting

COURSE OUTLINE:
Digital Photography Workshop teaches basic photography skills, how to operate a digital SLR camera, principles and elements of design, composition, natural and artificial lighting, how the lens and aperture works, how to achieve proper exposure, photo editing and more.

NON-LINEAR EDITING (Final Cut Pro)
Facilitator: Ms. Apol Dating
Schedule : October 6, 13, 20 and 27 (4 Saturdays)
Time : 1pm to 5pm (16 hours)
Course Fee : P 6,500

COURSE OUTLINE :
- introduction to video post-production
- editing concepts and techniques
- editing as an integral part of filmmaking
- capability of post-production

*Use of Mac computers
*limited to 12 participants

INTERMEDIATE SCRIPTWRITING
Facilitator: Mr. Armando “Bing” Lao
Schedule : November 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24 (6 days / Fri Sat)
Time : 1pm to 5pm (24 hours)
Course Fee : P 6,000

BING LAO is a multi-awarded screenwriter and script consultant, whose works include Brillante Mendoza’s KINATAY,
Jeffrey Jeturian’s TUHOG & Chito Rono’s ITANONG MO SA BUWAN.

*Beginners are welcome to join.
*limited to 10 participants
